THE MOUNTAIN:
I grew up in the foothills of a town called Maple Ridge backing up against the Golden Ears Mountain Range in beautiful British Columbia. My love and desire to explore the "what's over the next hill" started at a very early age. Along with that, taking pictures of squirrels and other critters in our mossy forests, fostered a passion for photography. And of course all the cheesy home-video remakes of The Wizard of Oz, Hansel and Gretel and some improv that will never see the light of day grew my passion in creating unique and true to life films.

THE STINGRAY:
One of my biggest bucket list items is to do a nightdive in the Hawaiian Islands with a fever of stingrays, (yes, a group of stingrays is called a "fever"). Ever since I got my diving ticket in the Philippines and entered into the depths of a Japanese WWll battleship, my love for the water grew 10-fold! Technical Wreck Dives are always a must on turquoise water vacations!

THE STARS:
After getting married, Joel and I lived in his homeland of Australia for a year. Having never experienced the Southern Hemisphere sky was truly incredible once I finally did lay eyes on it. To see the Milky Way Galaxy so vividly with the naked eye, wow, there are no words. You haven't seen stars till you've travelled down south. 

My logo says it all. Stingrays, mountains and stars; how in the world would those three ever cross paths?! They are just a few of my favourite things. Let me explain...
